State-of-the-art electronics and sensor technology enable the constant monitoring and control of the letter-flow process and safely take each letter in the system to its final position in the postbox. Fast box changes ensure that no processes are interrupted and assure the highly effective performance of all production equipment.
Interacting hardware and software let data packages flow in real-time over the interfaces of the upstream inserters, enabling precise sorting by mail-related or customer-specific criteria. Based on the data supplied, the software creates a label in line with postal regulations, prints it and fastens, sticks or inserts it into the respective boxes. Due to the modular and open construction of the Post-Box-System, there are virtually no limits in terms of logistics once the boxes are filled.
Besides short set-up times, ergonomic working heights and intuitive user interfaces, users always have access to the most important production and machine status data. The service mode of the software provides a tool for simple troubleshooting and correction. A further option is the installation of our remote maintenance software.
The deflector module is, despite its compact construction, variable in terms of height, format and letter positioning and acts as an interface between the PBS and the upstream inserters. The flexibility of the deflector module makes it possible to achieve any system configuration, letter positioning and orientation of mailings for the postbox. The deflector module has a
capacity of up to 26,000 inserts/h.
Most commonly used postboxes have spaces for inserting, pressing or sticking labels. With the data transferred by the inserter or the HSW Mail-Piece-Control, the correct labels can be generated with the HSW label module containing postal shipping information as text or barcodes, which are then printed and automatically inserted, pressed or stuck to the postbox in exactly the right position. Labels no longer need to be inserted manually – this means more efficient production processes, labor cost savings and the fewer sources of error.
The space-saving box depot supplies empty postboxes to the loading device in the basic module. The quick removal of the filled postboxes on to further system modules reduces changeover times to a minimum and guarantees an uninterrupted envelope flow. The box changers cater to all currently known European postboxes.
Simple usability, intuitive user guidance and clear status displays simplify the operating of an HSW Post-Box-System and guide the user in a secure and comprehensible manner through a specific production job. The monitoring of complex actuator and sensor processes is conducted via PC and software. Each system status is portrayed in advance and clearly visible. The user interfaces installed at various levels optimally supports service technicians in their maintenance work.
The PBS basic module is the central element of any Post-Box-System and consists of a series of precision components for data-controlled separating, stacking and loading processes. Here the letters are removed from the deflector module and exactly the right letters are stacked in the correct position in the postboxes provided by the box changer. The sturdy construction and high stability of the PBS basic module (also for maximum inserter performance) enable homogenous and effective productivity results at a low degree of maintenance.
There are virtually boundless possibilities to process postboxes that have been loaded with the basic module. We offer further options such as a box elevator facility that automatically lifts boxes to an ergonomically optimized output height. In addition, we also offer a box rotator which, together with push, raise and other transport functions, opens up a whole range of logistics options.
